The Sound Blaster Home Theater Cable offers a simple to use solution to connect your Sound Blaster sound card to your home theater system. The clearly labelled connectors make for a quick and easy installation for novices and experts alike. This cable may be used with Sound Blaster X-Fi, Audigy 4, Audigy 2 ZS, Audigy 2 Value, and Live! 24-bit, audio cards.
Note: This cable is only intended for use with Sound Blaster audio cards, it is not intended for use with other sound cards, or with other devices that use a 4 conductor 1/8" (3.5mm) mini plug, like camcorders or portable DVD players.
Installation
The Sound Blaster Home Theater Cable is easily installed between your Sound Blaster sound card and your home theater receiver. Each connector is both color coded and clearly identified in text with its intended location.
- Power off your computer and your home theater receiver.
- Connect the 1/8" mini plug connections to the Line Out ports on your Sound Blaster sound card.
- Lime Green to Line Out 1
- Black to Line Out 2
- Orange to Line Out 3
- Connect each of the labeled RCA plugs to the corresponding input on your home theater receiver. Use all available inputs on your receiver.
