6.1 Megapixel Still Image Capture When switched to still camera mode, the CX7K can capture high quality 6.1 Megapixel still images. The Dual Recording function makes it possible to record high-precision still images equivalent to 4.6 Megapixel even while shooting video.
Film Roll Index and Face Index One press of the body-mounted Film Roll button makes it possible to preview the beginning of scenes and create scene indexes set at specified display intervals (3, 6, or 12 seconds and 1 or 5 minutes) – perfect for seeing what was recorded in a long take. The CX7K also incorporates face detection technology, allowing you to play scenes simply by pressing the human faces detected during shooting.
