The DEFCON 1 allows mobile computer users to secure their notebook or carry case in locations like airports, hotels, restaurants and other public places. This system combines a stainless steel cable, motion sensor technology and a 95dB alarm to create a combination locking alarm system that easily attaches to your notebook or carrying case in any setting. The DEFCON 1 consists of a stainless steel cable connected to a 95dB alarm which sounds if the cable is cut. The cable is secured with a four-digit re-settable combination lock providing 10,000 unique combinations. A second level of security is provided by a motion sensor that can be optionally activated to trigger the alarm if the device is moved.
